The team at Flash Frame have a successful and award-winning track record, shooting with 16mm film and DVCam. We can shoot conventional (4:3) aspect ratio, or the increasingly popular widescreen (16:9), and at HD 720i or 520p.
“Heart” was shot on standard 16mm and was widely acclaimed throughout the UK. It studied the death of town centre markets – the traditional and historic heart of many communities – and the subsequent demise of many town centres.
“Wow and Flutter” was also shot on 16mm. It entered the secret world of pigeon fanciers in the North of England. The subject matter was treated with sensitivity and power – after months of research and earning the trust of a suspicious community.
